Recommended products for OrderlyEmails

This collection is used by the OrderlyEmails app to populate product recommendations in notification emails. It is a hidden collection, so it is not visible on your website as a customer shopping category.

Recommended items update automatically every four hours to match the products included in this collection. This means email recommendations can stay aligned with your current catalogue over time, without manually changing the products in each email.

Default recommendation rules

Unless you change the collection rules, OrderlyEmails recommends your best-selling products that are in stock and have not already been purchased by the email recipient. This helps avoid showing unavailable items or suggesting products the customer has already bought.

Choosing which products appear

You can modify the rules for this collection to change the products available for recommendation. Product order also matters: items closer to the top of the list are more likely to be shown in your emails.

• Keep the collection rules aligned with the products you want to promote.
• Move priority items towards the top of the collection where needed.
• Allow the four-hour automatic update to refresh recommendations as the collection changes.

Enabling recommendations in an email

To switch recommendations on or off, log in to the OrderlyEmails app through Shopify Admin, then go to Apps. In the email editor, add the Recommended products section to an email template.

The Recommended Products service is currently provided free with any theme purchase.
